Meer Alochinchandi film APARD website wins Nandi Award

APARD Wins Nandi Award APARD has been awareded nandi award under BEST T.V. SOCIALLY RELEVANT FILM category for its film "MEERU ALOCHINCHANDI" Which portrays the role of Panchayats in the welfare of Disabled. A Silver Nandi with a cash prize of Rs.15,000/- and commendation Certificate to the producer i.e., COMMISSIONER, AMR-APARD will be presented soon. The director of the film will also receive Copper Nandi with a cash prize of Rs.10,000/- and Commendation Certificate


Sthanika Palana and APARD website wins Awards from Public Relations Society of India

            AMR APARD has bagged two prestigious awards from Public Relations Society of India for its monthly magazine Sthanika Palana and Website. Public Relations Society of India, Hyderabad Chapter has organised an all India level competitions in the categories of Best Corporate video production, Websites, e-zines, wall calendars and House Journals on the occasion of its 11th Andhra Pradesh Public Relations Conference. Sthanika Palana, a Telugu monthly Magazine published by AMR APARD is intended to create awareness among the Panchayat Raj Institutions in the state, has bagged special jury award from PRSI. The circulation of the magazine is 27000 and it reaches all the Gram Panchayats, Mandal Praja Parishads and Zilla Praja Parishads in the State.


            APARD's endeavour to reach the large number of elected representatives and official functionaries by leveraging the technology has been widely recognised all over the country by many training and research organisations. AMR APARD's efforts to make the training a continuous process through its website ( have been recognised and appreciated by the PRSI jury members. APARD website stood in 3rd place among the Best Websites amidst tough competition from Corporate giants like Vizag Steel Plant, Lanco Infratech which stood at first and second positions respectively. The website of APARD acts as a repository of various knowledge products including reading material, hand books for PRI functionaries, Power Point Presentations on various themes, video films on varied subjects related to Panchayat Raj and Rural Development sectors. The Website also hosts a good number of Computer Based Tutorials through which learners can improve their subject knowledge at their own pace.

            Dr Krishnamohana Rao, Deputy Director (Research and Training) and Dr V.Siva Sankara Prasad, Centre Head, Media and Publications have received the award from PRSI, Hyderabad on 13th February 2011. Sri K.Chandramouli, IAS Commissioner had congratulated the APARD team for their efforts in this regard.
